The raw materials for sponge iron production include coal, iron ore, pellets, and dolomite.
Cooling is efficiently managed by a specialized cooler, which operates round the clock with a water spray system to prevent any overheating of the conveyor belt.
The cooler transfers the sponge iron onto the conveyor belt, which then transports the product to the storage bins designated for sponge iron and fines. Subsequently, the material is loaded into vehicles through hoppers for transportation.
In order to maintain rigorous quality control, we conduct thorough product testing to ensure that it consistently meets grade A standards, which equates to a FeM (iron content) level between 78-80%.
